The Rebel fleet is geared more towards speed and agility rather than the heavy firepower favoured by the Empire. While the speed of the ships available far outweighs the heavy cruisers of the Imperials, Rebel gamers should be prepared to lose many ships to meet the overall goal.
Fighters – Unlike the Imperial forces, Rebel ships do not come with their own hangars (in un-modded versions of the game.) This puts the rebel fleets at a severe disadvantage, as Rebel gamers will have to keep a constant stream of replacement fighters entering fleets.
