Oriental Floral Types of Perfume Scents

Most oriental floral perfumes are medium to heavy fragrances and may contain ingredients like amber, resins, eastern spices, eastern woods, exotic flowers, vanilla and musk.

A classic example is Samsara – an 80s floriental that can be described as sensual and sophisticated. The top notes are of bergamot, lemon, ylang ylang and peach. The floral heart consists of jasmine, iris, narcissus, violet and rose. The base features vanilla, sandalwood, Tonka bean, amber and musk.
